There's the start of my first entry of my blog.
There's a few days left in the year of 2007, so many events and happening have came and gone in this 12 months. Time for some recollection of joy and tears...
Memories are what make us ourselves, and apart from others.
Since there is way too much to write.... I'll publish the first part first...
When there was still a place called school to return to.....

Chinese new year,
Dong Dong Chang!!!!
This year Chinese new year, we went back to Malacca for a 2 days trip. Stayed at Equatorial hotel Malacca. Visit aunts and all.... Then returned home.
After that, I had open house!!! hopefully you guys still remember the time you all came over..
Really enjoyed the time when you all came over, we got to catch up on all the lost times.. Looking forward to the future....
Tbun Open ceremony?!? TBun, The Biggest cyber cafe that revolutionized the cyber in the local vicinity of Aman Suria.
As an opening event, they started giving out free gaming for 3 whole days from 2 in the afternoon to 10 at night. This created a big hype and news spread around town like wildfire!!!
As part of the GOCC, Ernest, Win Yew and Hoong Yi (Whom was invited by win yew) and I was there. Well, it was a first of the big scale DOW:DC for the GOCC.... It was the beginning (of more than 1 events to come)

The first event the GOCC participated as a team, we got our shirts too...
We shed some light on ourselves, showed that we could play, but not win.... at that time.....
We left before it ended, licking our wounds..

Theme: Score A in BM (after 10 hours of listening to them)
Venue: Ambang Asuhan Jepun. University Malaya.
Duration: 10 Hours
Yes, its a seminar on BM for 10 hours... That the time required to travel from KLIA to Shanghai and return.. Its the amount of time that we spent when we overslept... It is also the amount of time taken for me to improve my BM... Miraculous?? BM is not my best pick in the string of subjects that I'm taking in SPM... Yes, i know its compulsory. I know I'm not good in it. I also know that reading Gempak, Utopia, Starz does not help improve my BM at all!!!!
Ok ok... we've strayed a little too far.. So how was the seminar, It was fun, especially the starting part where we cheered for our own school name
when it was called out... Jokes were made when things starts getting dull and boring...
Food there was provided by the local UM cafeteria of 12th collage just down the main road... I think we had about 3 breaks for the whole seminar.. Noodles, Chicken rice and the local delicacy that i don't know (it taste great, so that's all that matters..)
The Seminar was split into various sections: Rumusan, Karangan, Komsas and Tatabahasa....
All great speakers with their way round with the language to get us interested in their speeches. From this event i learned that the reason i didn't fare well in the language is my lack of interest and reading... Thus, from this event... I look at my national language from a different prospective, and it looks far better than before...

The play that played us..
5A did a play on some environmental issue..
With all our not so eager practicing and various slacking and of course time just laughing at Win Yew trying to exert control on a rowdy and uncooperative troop of students (yes, us... you know who you are XD)
We just took the liberty of this event just for skipping classes and not seeing "you know who" because we just don't like him...
On the day of the play....
I have no idea what my role was... neither did i know when i was suppose to come in just to run off with Ewing superman style... It can be considered 1 of the biggest flop by 5A during a school event.. My, I don't really think anyone reading this will remember the event well...
Writing this as it did happen in this year.. and may it serve as a reminder.... Practice makes perfect, Don't join a play if you don't want to act and School extracurricular activities are not for skipping classes!!!

This time, Microsoft did a promotional booth on the newly released Windows Vista.
The fair was fun, but once you've been to the first one, you've been to it all.
We hang out for a few hours then moved on to Kinokuniya to buy more Warhammer 40K books..
Hot Cat Race,
Fueled by the recent released of the Amazing Raca : Asia. We decided to participate in the Annual Hot Cat Race by KDU. The race was open to all secondary students around the area.
Objective of this race is to enlighten the students regarding the collage faculty and facilities.
Our school sent 3 teams: comprising of Yellow, Blue and BB team.
Jermin, Me, and Kentrick- Blue Team
Ian, Chun yip, Kent Wyn - Yellow Team
Kok Meng, Sue Jean, Joselyn - BB Team
The race started in the main hall and ran throughout the campus.
Blue and BB Team was kicked out on the 3rd part of the race where we needed to determine the name country by comparing a not to scale art to a world map.
Yellow team had the skills and drills to reach the 3rd quarter of the race. They were out at the crossword puzzle.
Finally as the teams gathered, we were served some delicious food by the local students of culinary arts. Besides that, we were supplied with door gifts for our support for this event....
The event ended with some girl team wining a scholarship for this Collage...

The competition was held at a muhibah primary school with 3 different schools in 1 compound. The place was filled with the purity of our white uniforms, voices of our commander and the sounds of our footsteps...
Anxious as we were.. we did our best and ended in the finals....(though most of us didn't want to enter the finals.)
For better or worst.... we had to continue training....

Finally.... The last day of marching competition...
This event was yet again held at SMK (P) Taman Petaling...
After all the practicing and discussions regarding the formations and steps....
Now come the moment of truth..
The whole marching sequence played out as we planned and there wasn't any blooper or mistakes during the march...
We've done all the best, but didn't make the cut for the top 3 winners...
but Hey, we did get our kawad batch after all...

Warhammer 40,000:
Table top-
As the time this article was written, my 40K army has already massed to a size of 2 Leman Russ Battle tank and a squad of 6 men.
Weekly Battles:
Currently, Marcus, Ernest, Me and occasionally Aaron would come over to my place after dinner to play a match of 40K.....
Yes, Imperial Guard is not the best shooter on the table, and although the guns of the tank looks fancy and nice. Its not all that fine in a battle.. plus it cost a bomb. Nevertheless, the game with Ernest and Marcus are certainly not to be missed!!!
The Black Library:
Currently, my Warhammer 40K book collection is stalling... This is due to the recent events of rallying in the city center that cause the less than frequent visits to Kinokuniya to purchase the New release every month... However, MPH in 1 Utama has started releasing Black Library publications for purchase!!! This has created ample convenience for me in getting my stock of BL books.
